LIGHTNING EXE

We had a model named Gawin for the day to practice lightning photography, to enhance the highlight and contrast. Lightning pattern for i define as how light a shadow play across the face to create different shapes. There are 4 common portrait lightning patterns and they are split, loop, rembrandt and butterfly lightning. 

EXE - SLOW & FAST SHUTTER SPEED

Shutter Speed is one of the three pillars of photography, the other two being ISO and Aperture. Shutter speed is where the other side of the magic happens, it is responsible for creating dramatic effects by either freezing action or blurring motion. Shutter speed, also known as “exposure time”, stands for the length of time a camera shutter is open to expose light into the camera sensor.

If the shutter speed is slow, it can create an effect called “motion blur”, where moving objects appear blurred along the direction of the motion. This effect is used quite a bit in advertisements of cars and motorbikes, where a sense of speed and motion is communicated to the viewer by intentionally blurring the moving wheels. If the shutter speed is fast, it can help to freeze action completely.

TAYLOR'S DEGREE IN INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE - CHAIRS

Taylor's University Lakeside Campus had hold a furniture display today in front of Block A.The furniture are all based on chairs. It is one of the assignment made by the interior architecture students in Degree level. As you can see, there are varieties of chairs with their own concepts which stands firm and stable. Not sure if it is right to sit on it because there's no "DO NOT SIT ON IT" sign, anyway, it is stable. All the chairs displayed there had their on objectives, concepts, design development, for who to sit on and where best to be located. The final work is clean and detailed. It is really interesting and all of them have their different purposes. I admire the works of my seniors and do wish to build something like that successfully or a better one in the future. 

CTX ASSIGNMENT 2 - STORYBOARD

FADED

A girl named Scarlett, who finally found her desired job as an interior designer is having a tough time dealing with people in her new job environment. But ever since she met the mysterious someone, her life changed. She has no idea who 's that someone but the relevance of disobedience and choice is important for her to decide how her life is going to be.

LUCA IDILI, THE ARTIST

An artist named Luca Idili, an Italian, came to Taylor's Lakeside Campus to give a talk about his artworks. He worked as a bartender, police, waitress, kitchen helper and an account manager on Microsoft before he found his passion in art. He started his passion at the age of 30 and he believed that he himself is a creative person which inspired me. He found his passion towards art after his first paint of his wife. He even went for training to enhance his painting skills and so he is a self thought artist now. He showed us some of his artworks he had been doing and practicing which is stunning and caught our attention. 

ASSIGNMENT 03 - CAFE & INTERIOR

Took few hours in the cafe just to get a good angle and good pictures of the food and coffee. Played with the colours and textures of the food to get a matching sync. Ordered breakfast and brunch in different venue to get better pictures of coffee meal. Played around with the accessories on the table and took pictures from different angles to get for more interesting views.

Went to cafes which have great interiors and great food. There was always people around so we sat there till fewer people then only we start taking pictures of the interior. I even did some researches on how to take a good angle picture of an interior. The cafes i visited has a modern yet vintage look with great lightnings and decorative space as it is a good place for photography.
