To understand the shade and shadow of the light piece, shadow pictures are taken. For example, when the light shines from the right bottom, creating shadows that falls on the left side of the building structure. The bigger structure blocked the light which results a dark but long shadow due to the position of the light. The shadow's position, the size/length of the shadow or the darkness of the shadow depends on the position of the light source.
